Hi Beoworlders,

Can anyone tell me if the DVD mechs on a Beocenter 1 are the same as the DVD1 mechs? I have a Beocenter 1 with a faulty DVD player and a perfectly good working DVD 1 that I could hopefully transplant to make the Beocenter 1 as good as new!

Any advice would be invaluable.

I'd just prefer to know for sure.....

They both vary! Both use either a Philips or a Pioneer mechanism. What is the betting you have one of each!! Whether they are just plug and play is another matter all together!
