Display on Beolab 3000 in connection with Beosound 9000

    Hi All,

I have Beoloab 3000 connected to BS9000 and was wondering how to get the display working. I have checked the forum and also both user manuals but still no display ....

I have 8pin powerlinkcables and the speakers are set to 'audio'

Am I correct to understand that all should work, or should I chang some set-up to my BS9000?'

    If yes, how

Maybe the displays are broken )on both?) how to test this?

Thanks .. and good luck with tonights pricedraw!

    BS9000, Beolab 3000, Beocenter 7002, RL60.2, beo4, BV10

sEEMS AS THOUGH YOU ARE USING A mK 3 PL CABLE WHICH IS NOT FULLY WIRED (sorry about caps) a mk fully wired pl should get the display working!

I always try to operate using/following the KISS principle --  Keep it simple stupid!

All powerlinks are 8 pin but not all pins are connected in all versions of the cables!! Mark I or Mark III cables are no good for your job.

You must use Mark II powerlink cable or the new fully wired cables which have recently superceded them.
