Hi ALL,

I have recently puchased a used BEOMASTER 4500 system, and when I went to power it up I noticed there was the word "CODE" appeared in the led panel. I could not do anything. I don't have a user manual which doesn't help, (unless someone could email me one?). Do I have to input the CODE before operate? Or did the last user setup the CODE and forgot to inform me. cassette decks so you can record tape to tape.

Hi & welcome to Beoworld.

It sounds like the internal battery might need replacing. See HERE which is for the Beocenter 9500 though the 4500 is a similar model. The battery will need to be soldered in.  Tons of service & user manuals are availabe from this website but you'll need to upgrade to a silver or gold member to gain access. Well worth it.
