I recently bought a Beomaster 901 for next to nothing and after investigation I found the following faults:
Tuning lamps burnt out
One rubber foot missing
Minor scratches on the front panel.
The light bulbs for the tuning indicator are so-called wedge lamps of the type W2x4.6d 12-15 volts 30 mA. Note that the bulb for the stereo indicator looks identical but isn't. It is a W2x4.6d 12-15 volts too, but it is rated 80 mA or 1 W. Both types are readily available and inexpensive (buy a bag of ten each!).
Similar rubber feets are also available. Mine were circa 1 mm taller, so I replaced all four.
I have now tested all functions and everything seems to work as it should and sound good. The potentioneters are all totally scratch-free, which amazes me.
