    Beogram 5005 Turntable

    Hi bit of advice req, i have a beocenter 2 can i hook up the beogram 5005 to it ??  if not which beogram will work...any advice would really help

    Yes - you can hook up a 5005, but you'd need an inline RIAA pre-amplifier such as THIS one.

    For a straight 'plug and play' you would need a BeoGram 3500, 4500, 6500 or 7000.

    Hi Lee thanks for that, is this the case with a beogram 9500 and 3300 ? just looking to see which one is the best to get.... i feel a purchase coming on

    Of course none of them are actually "plug and play" as B&O , in their wisdom, fitted the BC2 with phono connections rather than a DIN socket.

    Lee is quite correct, the Beograms that work without the extra phono preamp are 3500, 4500, 6500 and 7000 but even they will need a DIN to RCA cable converter.

    lee and graham many thanks for the advice looks like a pre amp and a beogram ???? will be on the order list to add to the grwoing collection.
