    Popping Penta

    Hi All,

I'm having difficulties with one of my series 1 Penta's.  I'm getting an intermittant popping noise during playback.  I know, not a lot of info, but I figured I'd ask the B&O brain trust before I start taking it apart.  Thanks for any help you can provide.

    Re: Popping Penta

    Hi,

first try exchanging left/right and another plug/cable on your amplifier, just to make sure that no other part is defect.

If the Penta is the problem... sorry, then you need help from a service shop. Then it's probably a dead cap, bad solderings or a broken wire behind the flap.

    Does the foot/amp become hot?

    Martin
