Beosystem 3 removal from Beovision 9

    Anyone done this?

Is it complicated?  Any instructions out there somewhere?

    Thanks

I'm ready for something new that I actually want to buy!

One has to question why you would even consider this? Clearly you have a reason. No idea I ama afraid but I am sure a BV9 owner or a dealr might shed some light.

It's screwed in just like a BeoSystem 3 wall bracket (if you've ever seen one). Just unplug the cables and take it off. Nothing special. I did it once to steal BS3 in a pinch and didn't need to look at directions.

I guess if you need instructions to remove it then you best leave well alone! :I

As Trips said, it is quite obvious when you look at it - it sits as a backpack on the BV9. If in doubt ask your dealer, some of them were not aware of the fact that initially you had to deactivate the PIN code before uploading new S/W to the BS3 box - and it freezed. Only solution was to hook off the BS3 box and return it to B&O (or a skilled tech support center).
