    MasterLink / Link room question

I have tried a similar question earlier with no response…

In my living room I have a BeoSound3200, and in my bedroom a MX4002. The two pieces are connected via MasterLink together with a BeoPort. I use the MX4002 as a normal TV and as a Link room speaker.

In my living room I can access the following audio sources: CD, Radio, A.MEM. A.AUX, N.RADIO and N.MUSIC using Beo4.

In my bedroom I can access the same audio sources except A.AUX using Beo4.

My question is why I am not able to access A.AUX from my bedroom? If I use the BeoPlayer from the PC connected to BeoPort, I do not have the problem. Is it because of some kind of limitation in the MasterLink system using Beo4?

If I choose for example Radio on the Beo4 in the bedroom, I got access to listen to radio. If I then walk to the living room and choose Radio on the Beo4, I got access to listen to radio in the living room too. Then I choose A.AUX on the remote in the living room, and the sources change in both living room and bedroom. This is the workaround I use, when I want to listen to A.AUX in the bedroom.

    Has anyone experienced same problem?

    Regards,

    Erik

I think this is due to a bug in the firmware of the MX. I think I read that somewhere on the forum.

Have you tried calling LINK A-AUX with the Beo4 instead of A.AUX?

I have the same problem with my MCL2AV. I cannot select A.AUX from this link. The only way to do it is from the central room. I can then monitor A.AUX on the (LX) TV. I can select all other audio sources except A.AUX. Using link> A.AUX does not work. I can however select A.AUX from both my MCL2A's.

Hello Phil and David, thank you for replying to my post. LINK A.AUX doesn't work here either. Anyway it is nice knowing I am not the only one having this kind of problem. Regards, Erik
