    BV8 - 26"

Well poped into the B&O shop in Dublin today before I flew home to London, and saw in the flesh the BV8 - 26", I must say i quite liked it and at €2860 was cheap too.

I just saw it at the B&O store over the weekend. Underwhelming, just don't like how the speaker is integrated. I prefer the design style started with 7-32 or 7-40.

But the 7 costs the same as 3 BeoVision 8s!

You are right Alex. I did not mean to compare 7-32 with BV 8 on price or performance, just meant the design style which has not ignited enthusiasm...

Even with the 8 (which I also think is underwhelming) the range is so incomplete. At a recent visit to my dealer I found a selection of TV's that were mostly showing poorer quality pictures than the B&O CRT's (MX/LX Avant) of 10 years ago. The designs are also inferior because 'proper' speakers can't be integrated into the thin panels. I was so impressed when I got home and saw my LX.

The BeoVision 8 is "almost" not a Bang & Olufsen. Thats why there is no pincode protection in it.Its the only television range that is not assembled in Struer, Denmark. It is actually assembled in the east somewhere. You must not compare BeoVision 8 to BeoVision 7 as the concepts are as different as BeoVision 5 and a BeoVision MX series.....

Your BV8 looks really good. I think it looks better on the table stand than on the floor stand, which is very ugly.

Hello Mr anderson. I just looked at some of the photographs on your website, and they really are amazing. I was wondering which camera you used to take them with?
