Connection Video
Connect the VR 1 to the TV-set using a fully specified 21/21-pin 
A/V cable (RGB cable).
Selecting option on the TV-set
The TV-set must be equipped with a Datalink module MK2. 
If a Datalink module MK1 is built into the TV-set, replace 
the 5IC1 software with the MK2 version, part no. 8341101. 
Option:  OPTION 1 (Factory setting)
Set the five code switches on the Datalink module to the following 
positions: 
Switch 1 - OFF 
Switch 2 - OFF 
Switch 3 - OFF 
Switch 4 - OFF 
Switch 5 - OFF 
If no Datalink module is built in, modify the TV-set as follows. 
NEW 26/27IC4            8341001 
NEW Tuner Module        8003904 (module 51 38XX) 
IF  Sound Module        8003889 
if Nicam, NO modification 
if Sound Module 24/28 ver. II, remove IC 103, 
establish clock/data signal path as in module 55/56 38XX 
if Sound Module 24/28 ver. I, shift to Nicam or module 55/56 38XX 
The TV-set has now been modified to type 38XX. 
Make now a new configuration with a 38XX (LX2502/2802) TV-set
Note!
The TV must be equipped with a Teletext module.
************************* AUDIO SYSTEM SETUP **************************
Beosystem 5500 
Beovox passive
Connection Audio
Connect the Beovox to the SPEAKERS 1 socket on the audio 
master using a loudspeaker cable.
Connect the aerial to the aerial input of the audio master.
Selecting option on the audio master
Option: OPTION 1.5 
Press:  STAND-BY   SOUND 1 STORE 
                   SOUND 5 STORE

To obtain A/V intergration between these products the audio master 
must be equipped with a Beolink software, part no. 8341051. 
If the audio master is equipped with a Beolink software, it is 
indicated by a sticker marked BEOLINK on the rear panel.
The TV-set must be equipped with a Datalink module, part no. 
8003780. If the TV-set is equipped with a Datalink module, it 
is indicated by a sticker marked DATALINK on the rear panel.
