BeoVision 7 cleaning the AR screen

Has somebody any experience with cleaning the screen on BV7? I have a lot of troubles with cleaning it. Is it possible to buy some special solution for cleaning the AR screens?

Dead easy - just wet some paper towel, wipe clean. Take some dry paper towel and quickly dry.

We use 50% diluted good quality vehicle screenwash along with Kitchen Roll.

    Works perfectly every time!

When we were visiting the Struer factory, I asked the guy who was looking at the production of the BV7 screens.

He said NO ALCOHOL, or max 5%.

He recommended to use very diluted washing up liquid.

i use 1 damp e-cloth using only water, then buff it off with a dry e-cloth, it stays smear free for ages

its a specially textured cloth that needs no chemicals whatsoever no matter how diluted,  i use them on everything, and for glass they are perfect

I think I'll give these a try and order some. There are different ones.Which one(s) do you use?

In our defence, you lot probably keep your screens a lot cleaner than most people..

When you get a screen in that's been licked by household pets, prodded with biscuits by unruly children, then prodded by customers greasy fingers - kitchen roll just doesn't do the job!

There are 2 types, a normal one for everything and a finer one for glass, although IMHO there is no difference so i never bother using the glass one, ideally you need 2 normal e-cloths, one to use damp and the other to buff with, thats where the different colours are useful.

let me know what you think when you try them

I always use damp kitchen roll followed by dry kitchen roll. I do remember the guy in Struer saying NO ALCOHOL!
