    Beosystem 3 and HDMI expander

    As I understand, the Beosystem 3 can register a Geffin HDMI expander to expand one of the 4 Beosystem 3 HDMI ports, thereby adding 3 additional HDMI ports. This would total 7 HDMI ports; however, the Beosystem 3 only has 6 AV inputs. Does anyone know if the Beosystem 3 allows the registration of a seventh AV input to accommodate the 7th HDMI input when using a Geffin HDMI expander?

    I ordered this product Gefen EXT-HDMI1.3-441 and will be installed Wednesday of my dealers.
    I was informed that I will have 3 plus 4 HDMI and a total of 9 av products.
    Wednesday after being installed and I can write my opinion

    I'll be very interested to hear about your experience with this. I'm curious how the PUC control will work.

    The new software was installed. and works with Gefen 4x1 HDMI 1.3 Switcher.
    works very well, I see no difference between the STB connected directly to beosistem 3 and Gefen.
    The only problem is that my dealers informed me wrong, you can not connect 5 plus 4 av. It remained only those who had before 6 av.
    And give not make any sense now you can connect 7 HDMI  products but can only record 6 of them.
    Now I can connect HDMI:
    gafen C1, C2, C3, C4 and A, B and D bc3.
