    hi,

I would like to connect a Beosound 2 player directly to Beolab 3 speakers. Has anyone of you a schematics of this cable transformation?

    Thanks in advance,

Does the BS2 have a phono connector?? Surely its a 3.5mm stereo jack??

Or do you mean a Beocentre 2??

Generally speaking, you aren't learning much if your lips are moving.

    Hi Puncher,

    It's not about a beocenter 2, it's about a Beosound 2....

The ideea is that I bought a pair of Beolab 3 speakers on E-Bay from USA and the guy does not wanted to send them in Canada. I have found a solution: the guy will send the speakers in Plattsburgh, New York via UPS  with the Hold For Pick Up option, and then I'll go there(88 km drive) to collect them. I would like to try them on place so that's why I'll need a way to verify them on place( in case I'll enter in Canada with them, then I have to pay 300$ Custom fees and if they «are not working, I'll have to send them back - difficult to have my 300$ back as I have to fill a lot of papers............It is a mess I know but the price of the BL3 was so good .....

I would try the Beolab 3 speakers using their line input. In this case you won´t need a trigger signal to make the speakers work and you will only need a simple 3.5mm stereo jack to cinch adapter!

    Re: schematics RCA to Powerlink

It's not the schematic to use....

You will need a mini jack and two "7" pin Din. Connect ground to pin 2 and 7, for the left speaker you connect the left sound signal to pin 3 and 5. and the same for right signal in the other plug. and then set the speaker to "line" and it will work.
