Just got an Avant with very low use.  The stand however is a little noisy when turning.  Is there any sort of maintenance (Cleaning, Lubricating, tension adjustments, etc.) that can be done to the internal components of the stand?

Just dismantle it and have a look. It is very simple. Four allen screws to detach the stand from the frame, and then just one torx screw to dismantle it. All underneath the stand.

The stand is actually a big ball bearing. If something has gotten inside i guess it could make a noise.
