    DVI and HDMI

My BeoVision 7 32" has a DVI input for HD TV. What ist the difference between DVI and HDMI input? Would I need an adaptor to watch HDTV or is DVI also good for watching HDTV?

    Re: DVI and HDMI

Main difference is that HDMI includes sound cables, but DVI does not. Also HDMI supports copy protection.

You can buy a convertor to go from one to another, on a purely video level, the signals are the same.

No problems with watching HDTV, other than you will need seperate cables for the audio.

DVI also supports the copy protection (HDCP).
