    Beosound 9000 aux input

    Hello all

When I connect my MP3 player to the aux input of my 9000 I have to turn both it and the 9000 up to full volume (72 !!) to hear any sound at all. Is there anything I can do to fix this?

    Thanks

    Chris

I suspect you have a DIN - 3,5mm plug adapter that is wired for the wrong direction (i.e from the DIN to the plug). Therefore you are not getting the actual signal, just some crosstalk.

Agree. Just get a DIN to 4x cinch adapter, so you have inputs and outputs. Now you can find the AUX ins....

Thanks, I'm using two cables, a 3.5 to RCA then RCA to DIN. I'll check its connected OK or replace the two cables with one I know is OK.
