Let's say you have a Beocenter 2500 and a BV7, connected by a Beolink converter.

If all the speakers are connected to the BV7, it allow you to use local controls on the BC2500.

The Powerlink cable tells the TV that you have started the hifi, and it also tells the TV if you change the volume on the hifi using local controls.

Re: BeoLink Converter - Type 1614

    Hello from France

I've read a lots threads and Phil seems very skilled on B&O devices and cabling ..please Help

My DVD Avant is HS after 5  years : "Green CRT" du to a vice on Philips pro 32" CRT ??? :

    The bill : 1500 €...to maintain 7000€ from 2003

1500 € is rhe price of a 50" plasma last Top Pana generation.

I decided to maintain my 2 Beolab 8000 et 2x6000 et want to connect theses 4 speakers on a Pioneer new Icepower generation.

I can't use de switch line (cinch) and connect the B&O speakers to the preamp, because I can't synchronize the 4 others speakers; with the BO

Obliged to cut off the voltage "amp out" to charge the normal powerlink and reamplify the signal  internally in the 8000/6000

Need  a "special BeO box" ( signal adaptator) ...again 1600€ ( 4x400€), which is more expansive than the new Pioneer 7x180W last generation !

I can't accept again such a holdup. Do you know a solution to my situation?

IF ye sor no, an answer will be highly appreciated.

    Thanks in advance

    Alan
