    BV7 MK3 External IR

    Hello All

I have my beovision 7 set up in a cinema setup with an external IR connected to the BS3 as the screen drops in front of the tv.

Yesterday i accidentally covered over the external IR and coudl not control my TV at all.

i thought the external IR connection was if you wanted to have a cinema setup in another room,

for some reason the external IR takes over and primary and only IR, anyone shed any light on this?

i thought it would act as a secondary receiver.

    Thanks

    Only IR.Cool

My guess is that it's simply the way the BS3 was originally designed (pre BV7).  Being that most people (in traditional BS3 setups) use an external Eye in the system room only and you can't use two operating eye's (Including the built-in eye on the BV7) in the same room it seems correct to set up the option as either/or.
