Hi to the techies

I don't dare post in here to give advice just incase I was the cause of breaking some of your B&O, so I'll stick to the questions for now.

This isn't a major issue because I have a Beo4 of course, but I've noticed the volume UP button on my Ouverture has almost had it. I do have to push it quite hard for it to recieve my input. I guess this has just happened because its been used quite a bit. Is there any conveniant way of fixing this, or is not worth the hassle considering I use my Beo4 usually anyway?

I've never seen a problem with the keyboard but from the service manual it looks similar to the type used in beolink 1000 or beo4 so I could believe it could wear out with much use.

Should not be very expensive to replace. Part number is 7500270

The front of the ouverture is not difficult to take apart.

Then a simple enough job to do myself? I'll look at the service manuals.

Do you mean the MK1 & 2 beolink 1000's Graham with the celluloid membranes with black spots on which disintegrate?

From the service manual and from what I remember of the one I had apart a couple of years ago it is some sort of plastic sandwich construction. I would hope it's better than the BL1000 ones!

Ah, like the membranes under the later BL1000's then. A bit of a shame as these are pretty much irrepairable.
