    Beosound 8, USB

    Hello,

    According to the BS8 manual the USB port is for connection to a computer (streaming music from your computer), but can you use the USB to hook up a portable hard drive and play content from it?

    No.. you can't.. you have to see the BS8 as USB Speakers.

    The race for quality has no finish line- so technically, it's more like a death march.

    Does that mean it would work with Apple airtunes?

    Apple AirTunes has nothing to do with USB. AirTunes is a wireless receiver in an audio system. The BS8 doesn't have the receiver. But you can connect an Airport Express to the aux input of the BS8
