    Spare parts for RL60.2 speakers

    Hi,

    I just bought a pair of RL60.2 speakers via eBay and they are playing fine. Their finish however is "used" and this is why I´m looking for some spare parts.
    Are there replacement straps available for the RL60.2 speakers?
    Can the cloth grille be replaced?

    Hi Hagen,

    They seem to come up on ebay and are a good match, however they do not have the red lettering on them.

    Might be worth trying to apply the lettering  with Letraset if you can source some in a soutable typeface from a graphic supplier.

    what do you mean with "they seem to come up on ebay"? The Speakers or the spare parts?
    What red lettering are you talking about?

    It's the straps that appear on ebay every so often. The red lettering is the speaker model which is printed on the lower of these straps.

    Reclothing is possible as I've done it myself with good results but it isn't very easy. Lots of screws to undo to sperate the cabinet and gluing the cloth back into the front to recreate the Bang & Olufsen writing which appears embossed is really quite tricky.
