    Anybody tried to replace the VCR in an Avant with a DVD1?

    The problem here is integration. The buttons on the back of the Avant will not work the DVD1 and how do you eject the disc? Much simpler to buy an Avant DVD!

    Yes I agree with your point about buying an Avant DVD, BUT why allways go the easy way

    Still wonder if someone tried.
