Could anyone please tell me if the MCP5500 is compatible with a Beocenter 9000?

From brief trials it appears to control the basic fuctions i.e. on/off..CD/Radio/Tape/Aux etc

I currently use the Beolink 1000 to operate all the functions on the BC9000 such like volume/treble/bass etc

Is the MCP 5500 compatible in that, will it permit me to change the volume/bass/balance/treble settings?

Currently I haven't got a clue how to do it - perhaps it won't?

Any help or manual would be appreciated.

You won't get two way communication and although it might work a bit one way, it will not be reliable - My advice is don't do it! The Beolink 1000 is much better!
