One of my S45-2 is breaking/jarring at high volumes. More so when playing music with high beats or bass. Only one speaker is doing this. Visibily all look ok and no holes in foam or large speaker. Have been eagerly looking for a pair of S45-2 and a good receiver to go with. Earlier today I completed that wish and got the S45-2 with a beomaster 4500 - can't wait for them to arrive and test them. I hope they wont disappoint me...have certainly a lot of expectations from these new (for me) toys...

I want to agree - personally I have not yet heard a S45-2, but read a lot about them

I managed to find imaculate S45-2 units to go with my 4400. They already sound amazing, however the speaker cable is patched together with sticky tape and I am sure it is the 'weakest link' in the system. Does anyone have any ideas on the best speaker cable to use for this. I guess I am stuck...
