Success!! Thanks for your help, a fully-wired powerlink did the trick - without an eye. Now, how do I adjust the volume balance between the existing active speakers, and the new passive ones? Adrian

Sorry, forgot to mention that I tried it with powerlink as well, to no avail (not fully wired however). Your answers give rise to a couple of questions: 1, what's the masterlink socket for? 2,where did you get the attachment picture from? Adrian

I have recently attached a ML/MCL Converter to my Beosound 3200, to power a pair of passive speakers, which were already integrated into my living room. The converter is attached to the Beosound via a Masterlink cable, and the speakers plugged into the normal speaker sockets on the converter. The Powerlink socket on the converter is currently empty
