Elephants advice is spot on. The BS9000 MKIII directs the N.Music command to the Beoport when the Beoport is connected via masterlink. Beoport by default is in option 6 from memory. You also need a later Beo4. So here best you install the beoport to a Windows pc and install Beoplayer via the CD, connect masterlink and the other cables as via the instructions

You may be able to work around the problem in the STB Setup menu. After selecting SKY + another menu displays the way the box interacts with the controller, select manual here, rather than the other options. Then turn everything off for 5mins. See how you go, it solved the problem for us. BTW the other options are to auto sense the state of the Sky

Thanks, I'll look into it.

A beosystem 3 is well suited to a local devices. In a multi room setup it has its limitations. I bumped into a Crestron dealer who pointed me in this direction DMMS8X8 . I imagine the cost is something extrodinary though I did wonder what is on the horizon for B&O in this general area? Beoaus

Hi, My advice I thought there is little difference in the sound of the 8000/8002. The 8002 does not buzz to the same level as some 8000's (very few) and it uses fractionally less power. Look for scratches, absence of pops, consistent speaker sound over the volume range and some may have twisted the speaker without undoing the bolt below. Audition

At a home a while ago I saw a snooze button on a Beo 5. It had options for 15, 30 and 90 mins. The way it was used was to press the button and whatever was playing be it, TV, Foxtel, Music CD would turn off after that time. My question is how would this be configured, I did not think it was possible? BTW I don't have a Beo5 I am just curious. Thanks

Yes, the speakers are ok. The house has damage, and some contents destroyed. Most of the B&O equipment is fine. Its a process though.... Lots of people are worse off. thanks, beoaus.

[quote user="TripEnglish"] The PUC list is pretty big at this point and I don't know if it being published in print anywhere, but your dealer can certainly confirm the support for any device. The good thing about Blu-Ray players is that they tend to recycle remote codes within brands. So Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer, Samsung etc. are all generic

I checked you are correct. So I had to cut the cords at the power socket end. The speakers are being checked out after being in a room that flooded, lots of moisture and water. I wonder if the speaker cones are rubber or paper? I am crossing my fingers... beoaus
