As far as I can tell, no. They're all equally "clicky." Although the treble and loudness buttons (which are next to eachother) don't seem to ellicit any response from the Beomaster. Any suggestions?

First off, I just want to thank everyone on this forum because you've all been very helpful to me in getting my new Beosystem set up. Now that that's out of the way, I have yet another question. The display on my MCP 5500 started blinking about five minutes after I put new batteries into it. I did a little bit of research and discovered that

Thanks for looking for me! That does look about right. Oh and in reply to Medogsfat, I do have the CD5500 and it doesn't have a captive output cable. The Beocord and Beogram do, but the cd player does not. Thanks!

Hi, I recently purchased a Beosystem 5500 and was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some datalink cables for this setup. I saw that Sounds Heavenly sells them, but $24 for 1m seems a bit pricey for me. Could I use a 7-pin midi cable? I'm located in the US, any help would be appreciated. Thanks, Chad
