• Re: BeoCenter 2 was fine until i moved it, somebody please help!
That vibration is totally harmless. Try turning the mains plug of the system 180°, it might go away...
My wife's recently aquired Beosound 3 has the same effect. Plug in the power adapter, and over maybe 10 seconds a tiny electronic vibration builds-up and can be felt if the casing is touched gently

  • Re: Campaign 25% of on B&O speakers in Denmark
Just saw an ad from the local B&O pusher, that you can get B&O Speakers with a 25% rebate on the list price. This goes for the whole current range of speakers. It is in Denmark. /MikaelB
Interesting! No mention of any general campaign on the UK website. As most B&O is now manufactured and delivered

  • Re: Internet Radio

According to the Lintronic website, the Beo4 uses code set 703: shared by many Panasonic devices but not much else. Are you thinking of the Roku or Pinnacle Soundbridge? I use one at it provides very good results, but needs its own remote controller unless you opt for a Lintronic based linking solution. I'm not sure whether there is much difference

  • Re: Is my Avant gone???

Hi hebo, Here's a link to a similar question found with a Google search, but the answer may be too general and not specific to the Avant (although the original questioner's problem is with the Avant.) Make sure you have your PIN if you are going to try a 1 hour disconnection rather than Russ's suggested 3 minutes! Graham

  • Re: HDR1 with control of two STBs?
Hi, the STB controller on the HDR is used by using the YELLOW button after the V-MEM/V-TAPE button on the remote with STB commands, so you can have the 2 possible STBs with a splitter on the Avant/BV3 & 1 with the HDR STB controller with yellow so you can control 3 STBs NO Splitter possibilty with HDR STB controller

  • Re: Beovision Avant 28RF DVD
Thanks for the replies. The seller (B&O) has offered to upgrade the chip to the latest one for £32 so I have asked them to do that before delivery. cheers
£32 for the chip upgrade sounds good value to me. You may still find that you need to get a used Freeview box though, because, as Peter says

  • Re: beomaster 1200
I found one of these chucked out in the street in London W12. It worked fine for a while but has since stopped. And it needs some attention to the slider as the bottom edge has snapped off it's aluminium guider. But everything appears present (little wheels). Is there anyone out there wanting this for tender love

  • Re: BeoTalk 1200 help.
My problem now is that when someone phones, after 15 seconds my recorded message plays " hello ...... please leave your message after the tone " however the tone lasts about 5 seconds then silence for about 5 seconds then a 2nd tone for 5 seconds at which point the caller can then record their message. I've

  • Re: Is my Avant gone???
My Avant 32RF will not start after some weeks rest. It has been connected all the time, but yesterday it would not turn on. The red stand-by dot is on, but it would not respond to any Beo4-commands. The vtr has power - as you can load and eject tapes. Any a ideas anyone......
Manual turn-on possible? Beo4 checked

  • Re: The BeoWorld Event 2010

Just arrived at home. A big thank you to Lee & Co for the event. Mrs Vikinger won the first prize Beosound 3 (sorry everyone!) When we got back to our small hotel establishment (where our host had asked us to be extra quiet if late) we slipped the cardboard top and polystyrene from the radio. The thing sprang into life all by itself! LoL!!!!! Thanks
