Yes, you're talking about the limitations of the Airport Express - not about the Apple Lossless format! I didn't think you stated this clear enough before, hence my post. If the DAC in the BS4 is better than the one in the Airport Express, you'll of course get better sound from the cd in the BS4 but this has of course to do with the Apple Lossless format

soundproof: Hi Henrik, Yes, that's the enviable goal of lossless compression. Yet opinions are, mildly stated, mixed as to whether it's been achieved - with numerous formats jousting for which does the job. And good ears will tell you it's "close, but no cigar." Lossless sound compression algorithms can take advantage of the repeating

joeyboygolf: To all those people who have their heads stuck in the sand or up their ar** or wherever they have them stuck, the answer is simple. Get a PC like the rest of us! Mine works fine, even under the stairs, from where I am now communicating with all my friends with macs Stupidest post of the year? ;-) I use macs at home, windows at work, and

I like: + fast! + nice subscription otions, including rss streams! + possibility to put lots of info in one's user profile I miss: * a "take me to the oldest unread post in this thread"-function * to see who has started a thread without haveing to actually load that particular thread. At present, one can only see who's responsible for the latest post
