Hi, Well. Personally I'd go for the AV5, if nothing else it is a bit more exclusive than the Avant! Good luck! /Carl-Henrik

Hi, May be a stupid question, but why not a BeoCenter 1, or is it too small (as it's only 25"). Anyway. I like the Avant alot, especially since I have one of my own (also not the RF and with VHS). The AV-5 is nice, the radio's good and the CD is..well. It's a CD-player. Whether that adds to usefulness I cannot say, it's really up

Got it! I just wanted to share an experience I had with this BS9000. As the plate was loose, and it was in unknown shape otherwise (it powered up but the CD-player was in lock mode) I had to turn it to a proper repairman. Hi David, Ah maybe I was a bit unclear with what I meant. I don't mean you to change the language, what I mean is that under Options, there is an option to allow extended characters (or something to that effect), and this should allow the BC2 to display foreign signs, whilst still keeping all the menus in your preferred language.

Hi David, I seem to remember on my own BC2 using the Options menu to have the centre display special characters, such as Danish, German, French etc. (I have it set to Swedish which takes care of some of the characters, such as Agnetha Fältskog... ). I hope this is of some help! /Carl-Henrik

I like it! it has a very modern B&O feel to it and with I.E 8 it works just fine.

My 9500 would look great on that!

Well those are all good points, but what is your recommendation? What is the best choice?
