I have an opportunity to buy a Beogram 5500, Beocord 5500, Beogram CD 5500 and two tall cool speakers.  Is this system worth buying and what is a good price for each?  All are working and in good condition.  Thanks

I would say it is a system worth buying, I love these old rack systems (my dream is the 7000 in black). As for price, they are currently estimated in Denmark to be worth around 230 €, for a system including all of the components AND the Master Control Panel 5500 (which is also cool). Hope it helps!

Then I'd say the price indication given is fair. If the Beogram includes a good MMC4 pickup perhaps I'd stretch to 300 €.

Hi, I have the same system at home, combined with BeoVox Penta. Sound is great!If you have MCP 5500 it will be great. Otherwise you can use BL1000, but without chance to set the clock of BM5500.
