Beosystem AV9000 - how to connect a games console

    Hi everyone.

I've just acquired a Beosystem AV9000 It has a Beo4 remote. I'm trying to figure out how to connect my Wii to it. I've connected the stand to the Beovision 9000 monitor and the Wii to the SCART socket on the stand, but am at a loss as to what to do now! I'm happy to pay for manuals if necessary (none were included), but am a bit of a novice with B&O stuff so would appreciate help from anyone who has done the same thing

    Thanks

    Matthew

    Welcome to Beoworld.

AV9000 got two AV sockets, first is for the built in VHS recorder. You can assign the second AV to CDV via the AV9000 menu.

If done, you can select that AV socket by pressing DVD on your Beo4.

    Hope this helps.

    HI Stefan.

MAny thanks for your help. I got the console to work through AV2 last night. However, there was no response when I tried to do it via the DVD button. I had to add VTR2 (i think) to the List button and select it that way. Can I programme the DVD button on my Beo4 to point towards whatever is coming through AV2?

    Thanks again

In the menu you have to assign the correct function to the AV2 port, sometimes its worth playing about with Decoder (SAT) and CDV/DVD etc.

Seems to depend on what SW level in the AV9000 modules and which version of the Beo4 you have.
