    Beomaster 1200 coupling capacitors

    Hi all,

The 2 big coupling caps in my beomaster 1200 have gone leaky. They still seem to work but I'd like to replace them, since black smear coming out of them can't be a good sign.

The schematic calls foor 3000uF caps, would 3300uF caps work fine too?  Those are the only type my local electronics supplier sells...

Seems to me well within the tolerance, but I'd like to be sure :)

     Thanks in advance!

I agree, they should be replaced.

3300uF will work fine and actually improve the output stage's bass response and damping factor a bit. Remember to polarize them correctly.

    Awesome, thanks martin!

    I'm going to get soldering.
