    Hello,

    I have this old (around 1985) turntable and want to play records using a new Onkyo amplifier.  The amp doesn't come with a phono preamp. Does anyone know what I can use?

    You'll need an external "Phono Preamp" connected to a line level input of your amp (Aux /Tape / Tuner /...)

    Good phono preamps e.g. the "Project Audio - Phono Box" from approx EUR 100 to ...

    I use a TC750LC from www.phonopreamps.com
