Hi

I hope i am going about this in the right way!

 
I am having problems with connecting a media center pc that i have bult to my TV.

I  have a Beovision 7 and i am using a HDMI to DVI cable to connect the pc to the TV. (HDMI at the pc and DVI into the TV)

I have set all the connections to "none" except for AV4 which is PC and AV3 which i have set to my digifusion set top box (connecting by scart)

The problem is that the TV is not detecting the PC at all!

Any help would be much appreciated

Entering in the AV4 connection menu, VGA is Active? It has to be to see your PC in the screen.

there is no VGA active/inactive option, audio and IR sockets are the only other options

What happens when you push PC on your Beo4? TV changes to a PC mode?

There is no PC option, even when it is plugged in an turned on, it does not appear on the "list" on the remote control screen

You have to add the PC option in your Beo4. Press Standby and List buttons at the same time. You will see ADD? in the Beo4 screen. Press Go and then List till PC appears on the screen. Press GO and PC function will be added in your Beo4.

 one last small question, when the pc gets past bios i get an odd output full of lines, this then resolves itself when the OS boots up, this makes it very hard to navigate live cd's

is there any way of fixing this?
