    Beolink PC Office

    Hi,

Does anyone on this forum use Beolink PC Office? This is not Beolink PC 2 or Beoport.

I would like to learn more about the unit's capapbilities and limitations, and what software is available to support it.

    Thanks!

The main difference is the it uses a serial port to connect with the PC rather than a USB socket.

More specifically, does anyone have a recent or the latest version of Beoplayer working with the Beolink Office PC?

Wow. I can't believe no one on this forum uses a Beolink PC Office device. Could someone with this device respond here?

Indeed it's very old gear and I'm pretty much sure that it is not used anymore by anyone.

But maybe we can help if you let us know the issue

    Best regards

Has anyone been able to use a recent version of Beoplayer with Beolink PC Office?

Does Beolink PC Office work with a PC running Windows XP or Windows 7?

    Thanks in advance,

    John

I think it would be possible to work under Windows XP but you will need of course a converter from RS232 to USB.

This way I think it will be possible to make it work.

For Windows 7 I cannot say for sure

    Re: Beolink PC Office

Having put together a test setup tonight, I figured out specifically what I am looking for.

Does anyone have the setup CD for Beolink PC Office? Specifically the Beolink PC setup application?

I am assuming one installs the driver software for the Beolink PC Office to communicate with the Beolink Active box. The Beoport software won't work because it's looking for the device on the USB port.
