  • Using PowerLink to control nonB&O amps

Hi I came accross something in the Beotech website (http://www.beoworld.org/beotech/circuit.htm) showing how to use pin 4 in the powerlink to switch on a relay attached to a nonB&O subwoofer. I would like to do something similar until I can save up enough for some Beolab 9s, I have a BeoCenter2....

  • Re: Connecting BeoSound Overture to MX7000

Can I use both: ML/MCL MCL-2P - forstærker Ouverture -> Powerlink -> (ML/MCL or MCL - 2P) -> Five din to ? Or should I use: Ouverture -> Powerlink -> Beolink Passive -> Five din to ? Just tested the CD player! It´s so amazing. The sound is great through the MX7000!

  • Beocenter 9500 with separate power amp creates "plopp" at "on" and "off"

I connected my Beocenter 9500 via Powerlink (1 or 2 makes no difference) with a seperate power amp via a DIN-Cinch cable. The sound is great, however, when turning the Beocenter on and off, it creates a terrible "plopp" noise. It is so loud that I fear to destroy the speakters. So have to turn...

  • It's been a LONG time... (Beovision 8 thread)

Hi everyone, I have missed the posts and camaraderie here... I'm still thinking of a BV8, but I was curious how to integrate it into my setup, if and when I do get it. Currently I have a BS9000, connected to a BL2, and a pair of BL3s. I'd ideally like to ML the BS9K to the BV8, if I do this,...

  • Power- and Masterlink cables

Hi there, I need lots of cables for my new setup. Both Power- and Masterlink cables. And net cables aswell. So does anybody know if the Bosscom cables are just as good as original B&O cables? I reckon that Bosscom might be cheaper than B&O?? Greetings Ruivar

  • Re: Concealed wiring wallplates

Paddy, I think the stores have them made up to order. You could make your own for ML and PowerLink. Buy a blank HPM or Clipsal plate and start drilling and filing. I wouldn't recommend placing 240v outlet on the same plate though, I'd aim to keep a 10 cm separation, and have the two plates (twin...
