Hi forum , The sensor is working , with help of nick who handed over valuable information. the thing to keep in mind is , that the 8 volt supply to the external sensor has to be wired-in , CP1 has to be connected to 8 volt otherwise there is no supply going into the sensor. 8 volt can be found on the display/front pcb pin 4 of connector P11 . sensor

Most likely it is all the same sensor 5500 , 6500 and 7000 . The connection on the bm has been dropped on the 6500 and 7000 , but was available as an upgrade-kit for these units. i have put in the cable conn 98 on the processor pcb , and measured the 4 lines and do think there is smoething wrong . so now it is time to measure , ................... If

Who can helkp me ?? i got a master 7000 without the external ir-sensor connector ..................... so cable found ( thanks gregg ) and shipped , sensor found ( thanks to ebay ) , but it is not working. i found all bm7000 connections and schematics concerning this modification , but cannot find a schematic of the "sensor " itself. If you think about replacing the 1541A and saa , then look here ; http://www.net-audio.co.uk/index.html the mod is quite clearly explained there also , you found lampizator that is a reading job , then you will understand the things they modify. don't start a thing like this without proper electronic and soldering skills. no skills kills nitro2

hi forum , yust to keep this updated , sloughter out all metal from the batteryholder ( eroded anyway ) , and wiggle 3 nimh batteries inside with a mini rc connector . only for charging ( will hold several months ) you have to disassemble the remote :-( i am working on a solution for that , i have seen 3,5 mm jack connector on table top chargers for
