Possible - yes. Sensible - no! It looks like the perfect solution but: 1. Except for a couple of prototypes, it is a US system and uses NTSC. 2. It disables the two way communication with the BL7000 so you will need to use a Beolink 1000. 3. Dolby Pro-Logic only.
Two-way actually works in Beosystem 7000 with

I would also like a schema on AV7000, anyone who knows where to get it? It is not on Beoworld.. For changing 110V versions to 220-240V there is a good picture on the European model with the correct connections to the transformer here: http://forum.beoworld.org/forums/p/7380/55097.aspx#55097

The Beolink Converter that is sold now is called "Beolink Converter Update". There are also different software versions (1.0 - 1.3 or perhaps 1.4). Does anyone know the differens between them? Is the Beolink Converter Update just a new software version?

I changed the cards wiith another Avant and it was a tube problem.

It could also be that you have to clean the DVD mechanics (rails) so that the head goes easy through the hole disk.

Thanks! You where right, one copper line was (but not visibly) broken under the battery. Kind of self distructing construction..

I have a problem with a Beolink 7000 not transmitting IR. After exchanging cards in the Beolink I found that the fault is on the CPU board. The service manual for Beolink 7000 is, sorry to say, not usefull since there are no diagrams in it. Does someone have a full service schema for the Beolink 7000?

Line output? My Avant just gave the same fault. Sound but no Picture. Tube ok and glowing. It sometimes gives correct picture for half a second when I change from SAT to TV. When I turn it on then it sometimes shows the start of the curtain phase. No menu. Did they only swap a card or did they actually do some repair work?

SAT works on my Advant with STB-C attached.
