Oh yeah...and work closer with Apple!

You'll love me Moxxey... but 20% off to existing customers would be financial suicide for B&O dealers - there would be little to no profit to keep the business running! I agree that it wouldn't be a bad idea to offer financial incentives to previous high spending customers - and believe me BeoSound 5 will get most of you into B&O stores

I would think the line output stage is loaded. the line output transistor often goes short circuit with this symptom. I also recall a diode ( I think D32 or 34) goes short - rectifier for one of the secondary supplys...

I have seen it, played with it, and can confirm that it is a beautiful product that will liven up the B&O range...and each store will have a display model ( with 800 pre-programed tracks I believe?) running with BeoLab 9 next month, so that you can place your orders for Spring delivery! So it depends very much on what you would like to operate as well.

I have it on good authority that software 5.00 will cure the shutdown when connected to Sky HD etc. A skart is required for correct operation of Sky HD box.

Format 0 on a Beo4 gives out a 'low' on pins 6 & 7 of the cinema socket of a Beosystem 3 / BV7-40 MkIII. This output is used to energise a relay to control various items - such as, projector screen, projector drop, curtains etc... I would always recommend a Beo5 or one of the special Beo4 cinema handsets for this application - much better

In answer to the initial question. You threw me with the 'BeoLiving' part of the heading - BeoLiving is one of my specialist areas...

It is a beautiful thing. Very Bang & Olufsen in design and build quality, the 'wheels' have a wonderfully smooth action... I love it!.
