• Re: Beo 5 two-...

I really doubt that B&O will release a Beo5 in a two-way version. They might make a Beo6 (or Beo7 etc) that looks somewhat like a Beo5 including two-way functionality, but introducing it as a Beo5... not likely. That would make too much confusion as to what a Beo5 is. The Beo5 was never meant to be a two-way remote and the hardware do not support

  • Re: problem with caller id on beocom 1

Hi, Since you state that the BC3 is showing the Caller ID correctly and the BC1 isn't, it seems indeed as if the software in the BeoLine does not do the job correctly. I would contact your local dealer regarding the problem and let him take contact to B&O. Maybe B&O already knows about the problem or maybe they will try to investigate what

  • Re: BEOCOM 2500 Caller ID problem..

Hi, This is normal behaviour if the phone does not recognize or receive any Caller ID. The reason for the phone not recognizing the Caller ID could be: 1. The phone is broken. 2. The phone is not designed for your country (there are different protocols for different countries). 3. Your TSP does not send out Caller ID (then it wouldn't work on any

  • Re: Beocom 6000 Shutting Off When I Try To Use It

You can also try to remove the battery pack while the handset is turned on. This will reset the charging algorithm so it starts up from scratch charging the batteries to full voltage level. So - after removing and inserting the battery pack again you should let it charge for minimum

  • Re: Beocom 6000 Shutting Off When I Try To Use It

Hi Jose, As Chris states try switching the battery pack among the phones to see if the problem moves along with the battery pack. If the problem follows the battery pack, you will need a new one. You can also try to remove the battery pack while the handset is turned on. This will reset the charging algorithm so it starts up from scratch charging the
I got a prospect last week where I could buy a new B&O stock to 29 danish kr.
Actually the price for the new stock is only 19 danisk kr. This is the what stands in the prospect and in the letter I received from my bank. Best, Burnix

  • Re: Beocom 1 turns on then instantly turns off without any alerts!

Keith, the Beocom 1 is still being sold in the US (since 2003) as a replacement of the old BC6000 US which was produced until 2003. I believe you have mixed up the two products. Best, Burnix

  • Re: Beocom 2500 / 1600 handset problem

Not that it really matters, but the handset is not glued together. It is welded using ultrasound. I must confess that I admire your patience in opening the handset! Best, Burnix

  • Re: Beocom 2500 not working...

Hi, You write that the numbers 6 and 9 do not cease the dialtone and this shows that 6 and 9 is not recognized by the service provider. When pressing the numbers, a DTMF tone is sent to the service provider. The tone consist of 2 frequencies and I would have expected that 3 and # would not work either (indicating that the DTMF circuitry has failed)

  • Re: B&O Beocom 6000 contact entry delete problems

Following the instructions should result in deleting the entries (one at a time). Be aware that the handset can be set up as "common" or "private". If the handset is in "private" mode then the phone book is not shared with the base station and deleting phone book entries will only be done locally in that handset. If the
