  • Re: Beolab 3 High Pitch Sound

Hiort and Nicholas, Thanks a lot to both of your for the suggestions. It could very well be the case as I am actually not sure which power link cables I am using. (I didn't know it mattered.) I'll check it out as soon as I get home after work. BTW if I have the BL 3's connected from the BL 2, do I need an MK3 cable between the BL2 and the

  • Beolab 3 High Pitch Sound

Hi there, I have just acquired a set of beolab 3's with the beolab 2 sub and a beocenter 2. I already own a beosound 9000 that was hooked up to beolab 4000's . The idea was to replace the beolab 4000 with the beolab 3's. When I hook up the beolab 3 (and sub) to the beosound 9000 there is a very high pitch/frequency sound that comes on in

  • Re: Beosound 9000 & Beo4 Problem - Help Please

Opman: Do you have a plasma screen in the same room? If you have and it's on, that blocks the ir signals from Beo4. Opman Wow!!! I just tried it with the Plasma ON & OFF and this is 100% right. It solved the problem. It never would have occurred to me and obviously I never caught on that whenever I was trying out the new Beo4 I had the TV on

Daniel - Nope. I only have one Beo4 so that's the only one I've tried. But as I've noted above, I tried it with a BS9000 at the retailer's and it worked fine. Christian - Thanks for the additional info. I did it again and this time made sure Link was Off. Unfortunately, it still failed to make a difference.

Thanks Christian. Tried that too. Got it switched to link on but yet again to no avail. Oh well, thanks for trying. Maybe it is something more serious with the BS9000. Although I've never heard of the IR sensor to go on a piece of electronic equipment.

The BS9000 is connected to a pair of Pentas via powerlink 7-pin DIN cables. I actually had it connected through a minijack before I got the proper cables and it still wouldn't work. Thanks.

  • Beosound 9000 & Beo4 Problem - Help Please

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and in fact a fairly new owner of a second hand Beosound 9000. (Which I love by the way.) It came without a remote control and has been working just fine. So I bought a Beo4 but have not been able to get it to work with it. The beosound 9000 simply will not respond to anything I do with the remote. I tried putting
