Thanks for the reply No wonder such a good machine sells so cheap on ebay! I did find elsewhere on the forum that one can use play and eject on the machine so if one just wants to play videos and not record it would be a good machine to buy and would work ok as a player with any TV set

Hello. I'm new to this forum and have seen a VX7000 video cassette recorder which I want to buy but it has no remote. Looking on the web it seems that the remotes only work through B&O TV sets. I have a lovely Loewe TV which I want to use with the VX7000. Is this possible? Will the B&O remote tell the VHS what to do even though the TV is
