  • Release date for Beovision 7-40 with Blu-Ray

Hi! I currently own a Beovision 7-40 MKII, and will not switch to a new one until it is released with Blu-Ray. I have heard for a long time that it is supposed to be released around this time, but can not seem to find any news regarding such a release. My local dealership only knows to say soon. Can anoyone help? Thank you, and a happy new year to all

  • Two or three speakers when watching ordinary TV

Hi all. I own a BV 40-7 with the BL 7-4 and BL 9 on the sides. When watching movies it is obvious for me to use all three speakers, but when listening to music i only use the BL 9's. I am curious what people with similar setups do when they (you) watch TV? I get that the vocal audio from the 7-4 is superior, but isn't that mostly when the signal

  • Re: Speaker cables - original or upgraded?

Jandyt: ....I do think white cables give a colder sound though.... Living in Norway I can confirm the colder sound... :-D Of course, as stated in the first reply, it matters that the cables only carry a signal to the amplifiers in the BL 1's. Thanks for the answers. From them I get that I am to stay with the "cold" ones. But by all means

  • Speaker cables - original or upgraded?

I own a BV 7-40 set with BL 7-4 and BL1 on the sides. My dealer claims that the original white signal cable that he provides from B&O (or similar) is quite enough to equip this system, and that upgraded cables from i.e. Supra will not make any difference when it comes to sound. In my pre B&O life cables were quite an issue, and it sounds strange

  • Beoworld ultimate track compilation reposted

Edit: For the link to work you need an American iTunes account. But the tracks should be available at most iTunes stores I guess... Dear all. I have taken the liberty of putting together the Beoworld Compilation Volume 1 on iTunes iMix again. These mixes only last a year, and then they get removed by Apple. That happened to the original mix by some

  • Re: The ultimate track for B&O?

beoaus: Is there a reason I cannot view the link. Sorry if this is a stupid question... Thanks beoaus No questions are stupid. It seems you need an american iTunes account to view the iMix. However, being a copycat and just making the same list yourself in your national store should be a piece of cake :-)

Dear all. I have taken the liberty of putting together the Beoworld Compilation Volume 1 on iTunes iMix again. These mixes only last a year, and then they get removed by Apple. That happened to the original mix by some other member of Beoworld. I do not take any credit at all - just wanted to let folks know that the mix is up and about again. This is

  • Re: Is Beolab 2 "necessary" with Beolab 1 and 7-4?

Dave: I can't recommend the BL2 but a good sub with those speakers in that setup should really add alot to the sound. Because you hav not heard it, or because you do not like it...? If the last is the case, may I ask why? Thanks.

moxxey: takktakk: Hi all. I just bought a BV 7-40 with the 7-4 speaker (have not received it yet) and also bought Beolab 1... Although I've now disconnected my BL2 with the 7.4/BL9 combo, I'd certainly recommend the BL2 with the combo you suggest. It will add more depth - it will with the BL9's. The problem I had is that I found the bass
