  • Re: So excited I have to share! ... and a question as well...

So you run a PC, except when it crashes and does other stuff that annoys you, and leaves you totally out of control... Everybody has something yet to discover... ha ha. I understand what you say, about controlling music from your iPod. But.. why? iTunes is the mother of your iPod musicwise, and as such also the main library. My point being that there

  • Re: Who's going to notice first?

Wow... I was a winner just a couple of months ago. Then it was a Beo4. It would surely be great to compliment it with a brand new 8-40...

[quote user="Peter "] There are differences between the BS3000 and BC2300 - as far as the CD is concerned these are because the Philips assembly was updated regularly - it doesn't however always follow that newer is better! However remeber these devices do have service lives and it makes sense to get a relatively new model. The 3000 is

I can tell you I went trought several posts and thoughts back and forth! I am an Apple reseller, and Airport Express would be my choice of wireless music in my house. Then I am

  • So excited I have to share! ... and a question as well...

On its way to my home is a brand new teammate for my Beolab 9's and 7.4. A Beovision 4-70 MK IV. After lots of thoughts on whether I should stick with my "old" MK II, upgrade to MK III (still available from dealers) or hang in there for the MK IV the decision is now made. And I am on the edge of my chair with excitement. Also, I just bought

  • Re: Beolab 3, 4 or 6000 with Beosound 4

Everyone! Thanks for your thoughts. To answer why I was considering a non ALT solution is because I thought that the 7.2 could play stereo 4 together with my BL 9's. As it turns out, it can not and I will hang on to my 7.4. Also in some situations with the 7.4 I find it a little too dominant (ordinary TV and such). With my recent purchase of a yet

[quote user="elephant"] However I find the sound of the BL4s particularly satisfying and intend having several in the surround sound set-up when we get to that stage. If I had an unlimited budget (is that a contradiction in terms?) I would ADD to my setup the following: In summary: for me the choices are as much about HOW the set-up is used

Thanks guys! I may have to go for the Beosound 3000 if I am to go with the 3's. Just to get things to add up as the Beosound 4 is a bit more even as used. Guess that won't make much of a difference? I will let you know. No worries :-)

  • Panel error on Beovision 7-40 MKIII

Hi again. A slightly different issue. I have hard a couple of times that BV 7-40s still at the dealers have had some kind of panel error. Panel needs to be switched for another or corrected somehow. I am about to buy a MK III from my local dealership, and would like to know if any of you know of such "common" errors? Is there anything in particular
