• Re: BeoVision 8-40 Soap Opera Effect

My new Beovision 7-40 MK IV has a possibility I haven't seen anyone mentioning, which is to set Film Mode to "Auto". Is that an option, or is simply "Off" the best bet? Also, can anyone tell me what is the latest software release. My set shipped from BnO a week or two ago. Can I expect it to have the latest software?

Thank you for sharing. I do hope you get things settled with your set. Could you tell me please where I can find the film mode setting? I can not seem to locate any such default mode settings.

  • Beovision 7-40 MK IV BluRay - Frist impressions at home

Hi all of you! Today the most terrific of all terrifics occured at my house as I unrapped my brand new Beovision 7-40 MK IV with BluRay. It is still just set up "out of the box", and I did not make any adjustments to the picture yet - well knowing that some of you find that to be improving. One thing is a bit strange. I have been somewhat

  • How important are the satellites...?

Hi guys and gals. I am waiting for my new BV-7 MK IV, hoping intensely that I will be more satisfied with it than the major part of you seem to be. It will just be standing here doing it's thing. Nothing fancy like linking or such as I use Apple stuff for that. It will be playing with 7.4, Beolab 9's and for the time being a borrowed BL 2. I

  • Re: So excited I have to share! ... and a question as well...

Well almost... Yes - you connect Airport Express to BC1. That way your PC can be located anywhere else in the house. You do not need to connect iPod Classic to your PC for anything else than syncing it. iPhone and iPod Touch as remote towards iTunes and Airort Express - yes. If you want to play music while PC is off, you can use a dock, but also just

  • Re: BV7 MKIII & Apple TV
That would be correct however, if you want to listen to your music in say 4 linkrooms, it is far easier the other way around. And you are always welcome to join the party :-)
Thanks but, with all due respect, I am not anywhere near the ability to see why that might be easier. Are you sure you know the full potential of what I am talking

  • Re: BV7 MKIII & Apple TV
Hi That will be correct, digital signals does not work through ML, thus you need a phonocable to be able to use your appletv for sound in linkrooms.
Or you simply use one of these , and use an iPod Touch or iPhone to choose from your entire music library, and actually showing you what music you have and are currently
