  • Re: Beolink 5000 - Beocenter 2300 - how to clear "timer play"

You can clear timers using the Beolink 5000 remote... You just go into programming mode, and with the appropriate timer play/recording visible in the display, you just press "clear" on the remote. It will ask you to clear the timer.... Voila :) /Weebyx

  • Re: Beosystem 7000 questions..

You can program everything on the BM7000 with a BL5000 remote. The diff between BL7000 and BL5000 is just the general overview when programming, it's easier/more informative on the 7000 than the 5000, but light and play/stop timers can all be done with the 5000... /Weebyx

I actually was thinking about buying one, but now..... not a chance !! Why is all the latest B&O products only 85% ? Why on earth is the latest compact music system little red riding hood is running in the woods with, not able to create it's own wirelses network so the AirPlay functions could work when i take it to the park ? • Re: Your latest purchase?

Just got a hold of a near mint! condition Beolink 5000 MKI today, for aprox 100 euro's :) The screen works 100%, but the display had been loose one point in time, and had been glued back on, the job was not very good, so i dissasembled the whole thing, took out the display (very gently so not to tear the connection), cleaned everything with water

Thank you very much, i actually consider myself somewhat technical, but i have just checked my cable, and according to your info, the cable is actually wired so that it is using pin 1 and 4 on your drawing... And to confirm this, no sound when pluggin into the cd connector :) Boy i feel stupid right now :) Thanks alot /Weebyx

  • Re: Beomaster 7000 + AirPort Express = Low Volume

Yes everything is set to max. I was wondering if it was the Tape input that had trouble, but then i connected my tv to tape instead of tv/aux, and then the volume was fine. So it is not the tape input, although i think it is funny that if the BM7000 is set to aux, and i turn on the airport on tape1, then the sound from airport can be heard at the same

I am using a minijack to DIN, where the connections from minijack to DIN is using pin 2,3,5 when you are looking at the DIN connector on this page. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DIN_connector /Weebyx

  • Beomaster 7000 + AirPort Express = Low Volume

Hi all. I have connected an AirPort Express to the Tape1 input on my BM7000, but the sound is very low, and another "funny" issues is that if i listen to radio or cd, and the AirPort is playing, the music from Tape1 is heard in the background... i guess this is "normal" since the Beosystem 7000 always has one and only one source

[quote user="dudley"] Just taken delivery of a BV7-40 3D and it was set up by my dealer. Connected to the tv are a Sky 1TB HB box, Humax 1TB Freeview box. I am using a Atlona HDMI 4 by 1 switcher and to get 5.1 sound from the Sky box l have used a QED Reference Digital Audio cable connected to the SPDIF socket at the back of the tv. When the
