• Re: Christmas came early for me this year

This Beocomparator-3 looks like something that have been used in the B&O factory only (in their testing rooms?). Did they ever have this in any shops..? I've never seen it - and I've been in a few shops all over Denmark through the years...
I totally agree with John on this. I've alays thought large screen TVs were inredibly chavvy and rather council estate as statistics and trends have shown. I must admit, if i walk into someone's house with a large TV, i tend to thinkt that they are rather uneducated . Do young people still buy televisions

When I bought my BV7-40 and it broke (twice!), the dealer lent me an old BV7-32. It was incredible how small it seemed in the room. Just couldn't get used it it - but there again, perhaps I'm uneducated and need to get out jogging with Tod.
I lived in a similar property

  • Re: Bang and Olufsen Outsourced
Of course, there are a few people who have so much spare cash, £10K for a TV is almost irrelevant. However, these customers will diminish over time and the younger people coming in below will be even more fussy and price-sensitive....which is the primary reason for this multi-page discussion (B&O outsourcing

  • Re: Sometimes, things aren't too good to be true!

Sometimes you're just lucky to be at the right spot at the right time. I hardly dare to tell you about what I have just bought... (As You've guessed, B&O is a bit cheaper here in Denmark than most other countries). But in this case, I was extremely lucky!!! I've just bought a Beogram 8002, a Beomaster 2400-2 and a set of Beovox X-35
Looks like a traffic light for a garage, with the extra light for "wait". I think it was made by a plummer with to high ambitions
Really sad to see, how some 'designers' in the far East try to copy B&O design with such terrible result

  • Re: Beolab 5000 wanted

Oh My... That Doctor is such a wimp! That is one of the reasons, I'm not married... I live with a wonderful woman -and have done it for years now. But if she ever started complaining over some new B&O, I've bought -then she would be told to accept it, or leave. (Like I accept some of her 'quirks') In a relationship there should be

  • Re: So Close

$378.55 (and a probable disappointment to the buyer if he intends to use it). Would be a very nice collectible though as all the paraphernalia is there.
Lots to pay for just a collectible.
Collectibles often sell at insane price levels But (as Tournedos wrote) I guess
