I currently use the 9k as my primary. . However, I do have many of the products you had mentioned. I would agree that the BS4 would be a better primary system if you're wanting to use mp3 music. The BS4 will give you 4 lines of text and allow you to see the artist and song info when played through a BeoPort. I would definitely recommend the BeoPort

I have all of the B&Ospeakers with the exception of the lab 9s and the 7 series. I have heard the 9s several times and can tell you that for me they are absolutely worlds above all other B&O speakers. You can hear similarities in the voice reproductions of all of the speakers but the lab 5s are in a completely different class than the other

Your post brings me to my next question. . My dealer is really pushing the 720p panel and has offered a substantial discount. I feel like a step to 720 from a 1080p panel is not the way to go? Any one have experience with both B&O panels? 720p and 1080p? My dealer says the difference is insignificant but I don't want to buy outdated technology
