We have heard that the upgraded BV8-40 is out. Features include a 200Hz screen, the problem with acoustic delay on ML is sorted and there are now 3 HDMI ports. And the best news? No price increase!

We have just seen the last of the Beosound 1s leave the factory. The last few are being sent to the dealers. Catch them whilst you can. The 3200 is also now stopping production. The problem has been the discontinuation of the CD mechanism and the anticipated cost of re-engineering these models.

For those of you not enamoured with the Beosound 8, B&O are releasing the iPort which is made by Sonance. This small device allows your iPod or iPhone to be controlled using your Beo4 and on screen displays anywhere in the house. (You clearly need the linked TV to be in view!) It uses PUC software to control the device. Maybe useful for a second

The iPod dock is old news and not ground breaking. Think Beosound 5 lite as the man said - but lite may not be what you think. Should be more in tune with what we want.

Well, there we were munching on some grass... when the sales figures for the BeoSound 9000 over the last 12 months were laid on the managements desks. Honestly, they looked like we do when we've just been sheared - not very impressed. Sales of the Ltd Edition version didn't exactly set the world alight, so the thoughts are now turning to discontinuing

Built in loudspeakers that rival BeoLab 4000, compatibility with iPhone, iPad and iPod (as well as other inputs) and looks absolutely beautiful.
